This is a scholarly study of some swords uncovered at archeological sites. I found this site to be very informative for the serious student of bladesmithing and an invaluable reference source.

There is a not too obvious feature when viewing the different pages for the blades described. On top of each page is an image and where that image is outlined in red is a link showing that particular detail.
