This is the next set of the Metallic series.  I started off the day walking around the Germantown section where I live then moved on to a more industrial section of the city.  Nothing is in any particular order here which is how we observe the world around us anyway.

There are some strange contrasts in this particular group of images.  It can range from an ominous looking standpipe, to a threatening artillary piece  hiding on the lawn of the local VFW Legion Post.  Turn a corner and you're greeted with the soft blanketing of some metalwork with tall grasses and climbing ivy.  Around yet another corner and there lies a discarded exhaust pipe and cap, undisturbed in it's slumber.

Isn't it wonderful to have such variety in our lives?
