After quietly reviewing this group of images before putting them up on line, I realized that there are quite a number of unintentional environmental sculptures throughout this set.  It's interesting sometimes to reflect on what it is that we think we are seeing when looking around.

The point of the calf picture is, of course, the chain itself although the animal is actually more intersting.

The most disturbing image in this group (and I can't erase it from my mind) is the desecration of a very beautiful church by the clergy and parisheners alike.  An archway, which once cupped an ornamental gate, is now shaded with a pull down commercial security screen.  This photo is innocuous looking enough but it's content and meaning is very ominous.  A statement about our culture and where we are going with it.
