| The contrasts and variety of forms in this group may not be a kind of
knock you between the eyes sort of thing. Yet there are strong
differences between one rock form and another. For me I see the subtle richness
of each individual piece as a complete thing in itself. The stone may
be a sculpture, beautifully shaped with modulated surfaces and the rich
coloration of a patina mellowed and modified with the passing of time.
