wrought copper sculpture

This is the work in progress showing a view of two separate copper sections that have been tig welded together. The modelled form was initially hammered into dishing bowls to achieve the general convex shape.  Then, using raising stakes, I formed the depressions and delineated the form further.

When I do the next piece in this series, I will show what is now being missed.
