completing a form in a dishing bowl

After the initial form was developed in the open ring it's next being refined in a steel dishing block.  At this point I can clean up the irregularities that occurred in the shape while being hammered into the ring.  After this operation the piece is brought over to the ball stake and then planished smooth and corrected to the finished form.

This is a very basic and simple shape to make and is done rather quickly by sinking rather than raising over a stake from scratch.
